April is designated as Child Abuse Awareness Month. Be sure to watch throughout our community as many organizations, schools and churches throughout Southeast Texas are becoming more and more active in helping raise awareness during the month of April. Garth House has interviewed 9,560 children since its opening in 1991 through the year 2013. Garth House is committed to breaking the cycle of abuse, one child at a time.
